Professor of Plastic, Reconstructive and Burn Unit, Alexandria University,EGYPT. Fellow of Plastic Surgery in Eastern Virginia Medical School1982-1983,USA. Fellow of Microsurgery and Hand surgery , 1983-1985 LOUISVILLE,Ky, USA. . He obtained his Doctoral Degree in Plastic Surgery from Alexandria University in 1988. He was promoted to Professor, subsequently to Chair of the Plastic Surgery Department and then to Chair of Department of Surgery in Alexandria Medical School. , Egypt 2012-2014. Currently an Emeritus Professor of Plastic Surgery. . He is Member of various societies for Obesity, Derma, and Nutrition including Egyptian Society of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery; Past President of Egyptian Society of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery 2015-2016; Egyptian Society of Surgeons; International Society of Aesthetic Surgery since 1998 . National secretary of International Society of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery; Member of Egyptian Society of Obesity & Endocrine Diseases; Alexandria Endoscopy Association; Licensed Consultant of Plastic Surgery, Jeddah, KSA, and Licensed Consultant of Plastic Surgery, Doha, Qatar. He is a Member of the council for Professorship promotion of Egyptian universities. Scientific contributions include 260 publications, 3 books (Georgiade and Georgiade text in plastic surgery since 1986. EGYPT National Secretary of ISAPS since 2015 Regional Chair of Educational Council of the Middle East.
